Sanaz Lalehparvar, DPM
Dr. Sanaz Lalehparvar graduated from Shiraz University in Iran with a Bachelors degree in science and a Masters degree in Teaching English. Dr. Lalehparvar received her doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Lalehparvar's residency training as Chief Resident was completed at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in New Jersey where she was trained in diabetic limb salvage, wound care, pediatrics, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. As a former avid basketball player and swimmer, Dr. Lalehparvar has a distinct interest in diagnosing and treating sports medicine related pathologies. She is committed to educating her patients on the biomechanics of lower extremities and providing them with the latest medical advances. Dr. Lalehparvar believes many sport related injuries can be avoided by aligning the bony structure of our foot and ankle with the use of custom-made orthotics.
Dr. Lalehparvar also takes pride in providing medical attention to those in need and graciously participates as a volunteer in various New York marathons as well as missionary work at the Persian Medical Pioneer’s Institute for Higher Education in Shiraz, Iran. Dr. Lalehparvar is involved in an ongoing study researching Cutaneous Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the Lower Extremity as well as multiple research publications involving the application of skin grafts for the surgical closure of lower extremity wounds. Dr. Lalehparvar is certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
