Hanisha Bhatia

Hanisha Bhatia received her degree in Physical therapy from Gulf Medical University, Dubai and a Masters degree in International Business. She further obtained a Masters in Clinical exercise science from Long Island University with emphasis on sports performance and research. She has over 9 years of experience in the field both nationally and internationally with specialization in advanced treatment of patients suffering from sports related orthopedic injuries and pain management.

Hanisha delivers highly customized care with an innovative approach to her treatment and prides herself on being adaptable to changing treatment strategies based on each patient’s unique needs. Her approach rests firmly on the current evidence of manual intervention paired with movement patterns to optimize functional performance.

She has worked in various clinical settings including private practice and hospital based clinics which allows her to identify the best treatment for her varied patient population including pediatrics, geriatrics, pre/post operative, adults with diabetes, wound management and chronic pain. Hanisha thrives in the challenge of complex patient care and holds special interests in treating foot and ankle pathologies with emphasis on neuromuscular re-education, functional training and motor control.

In her spare time, she enjoys biking, ATV riding, bowling, go-karting, hiking and reading academic journals on physical therapy and sports medicine.
